
River City Paddlesports’ mission is to expand community access to all paddle sports in the Greater Louisville area through education, outreach, and competition.
We are a 501C3 organization located in the Louisville Community Boathouse in Waterfront Park on the Ohio River.

River City Paddle Sports is pleased to host with the Ohio River Way, The Ohio River Challenge. June 2 to June 11. Ohio River enthusiasts, artists, writers, and adventurers will explore 250 Ohio River miles this summer from Porstmouth Ohio to Louisville KY
As we paddle together in voyageur canoes, we will document the recreational, historical, and ecological sites. We will meet with river town officials to share our enthusiasm for river recreation and celebrate their work with and on the river.

The Louisville 50, 50 miles on the Ohio River from Westport (mile 580) to West Point (mile 630) forms Louisville’s Northern Boundary.

The “Digital Guide to the Ohio River”, developed by the GIS team at OKI (the Ohio Kentucky Indiana Regional Council of Governments), is designed to help boaters, paddlers, anglers, cyclists and motorists safely explore the Ohio and its historic river communities.
